Season 3.14 - Eddie P bossing the podcast! We have a new history segment and things that make no sense about 9/11
Nov 02, 2023 Season 3 Episode 14
Robbo, Johnny and Logan

We've got a brand new guest host this week - Eddie P is at OSD Towers, and he's doing what he does best - bossing it!

He joins the usual gang and lends his wit and perspective to the slightly drunk shenanigans.

Johnny and Robbo lead off with Today Years Old and Bits of Space. If you want to know how many ways there are to cook an egg, and just how many stars there are in the sky, these are the two segments to tune in to.

Then Logan kicks off a brand new segment – we’re trailing it, so it may or may not stick around depending on feedback, but we’re calling it “Queens, Kings and Other Interesting Things”. Logan will be given a bite sized overview of different aspects of history, starting this week with the story of the end of the Anglo Saxon Kings and the coming of William the Conqueror. Don’t worry, it’s all told with the usual OSD style and the gang get to add their thoughts and feedback. If you’ve ever wanted to hear Edward the Confessor called “a bit of a c**t”, then you’re in for a treat.

The main subject is Eddie P’s time to shine – 9/11 may be many years ago, but there is more than one aspect of it that still puzzles him. Specifically, the official narrative around what happened to WTC building 7 and the Pentagon. Even our resident argue warrior Robbo finds himself persuaded by some fascinating information and insights from Eddie that had the whole gang questioning what really happened.

We finish up with our usual slice of true or false trivia in Bollocks or Not. Robbo won last night to cut Johnny’s lead to 4-3 – can he make it two weeks in a row?

The weather is awful, the nights are dark and cold…grab yourself a drink and settle in to enjoy the only podcast that makes you feel like you’re right there in the room.
